Grand Vision

 

As a young chef I dreamt of travelling the world cooking; my dreams have become my reality. This website is part of the next phase of that process: to help make the wider public aware of the benefits of hemp and healthy eating, while also playing an important role in building a centre of excellence for hemp with the kitchen at its heart, demonstrating the versatility of hemp to its full potential.

Our joint vision is to source land on which we can use the information and technology at our disposal to set up a working model for sustainable community living, with hemp as a key ingredient.

In that aim, it is my intention to take The Shamans Kitchen on the road and to join with hemp and culinary colleagues new and old, giving demonstrations to people of all walks of life to show - and taste! - the benefits of hemp in the kitchen, allowing it to take its rightful place on every menu.

Promoting the view that kitchens can and should be the focus of a loving and nurturing energy, creating beautiful, healthy and nutritious food - a solid foundation at the heart of any household, business or community.

To meet with old work mates, peers in the industry to see what they think of this style of food and way of be-ing in the kitchen. A recent reconnection with an old friend - Kurt - from 30 years ago at the Atlantis Hotel filled me with new excitement, getting together with him in the kitchen, after all these years.
