Hemp Garden and The Shaman's Kitchen roadshow

The sign in the window of Steve's van sums us up well, "On a mission", the road shows aim, to bring to public awareness how hemp is the key to solving so many of the issues that concern us most, and is one of the main ingredients for good nutrition and sustainability.

Taking Hemp Garden and Shaman's Kitchen on the road to Farmers Markets and Exhibitions is something Steve and I have looked forward to, we are now ready to full-fill that dream. My part is to help develop the culinary aspects of this most useful of plants, the web site containing ideas and recipes formulated during that time and a link to join us on our continued adventures.

Update from this season

Images from 2006's Green And Away

During our Green and Away this summer, Igor Manfredi came into the Shaman's kitchen, a great chef of classic Italian descent having trained with two of Italy's finest Michelin Star chefs, Alvoro Cerri and Alessandro Perini.

His reaction was confirmation to this way of be-ing in the kitchen; time for a change of energy, a loving nurturing approach without shouting or belittling is a much more wholesome, and fulfilling experience. That this style of vegetarian food is suitable for people from all walks of life, professional or personal who wish to enjoy nutritionally rich, tasty and appetising dishes with a difference.

Also the shelled hemp seed in particular, has incredible potential in the culinary world. The experiments using it as a cream with some Japanese ingredients "blew our chef's minds" so to speak, suitable for either sweet or savoury, the tastes are truly exceptional and unique. All is revealed in the video demonstrations, ready mid November.

Another aspect of my life that has become important is Shamanic healing and energy work, a partnership with Michael Robinson a fellow Shaman, friend and college from Green and Away is having profound results, we look forward to bringing you a unique program of Cookery and Shamanic workshops.
